It is time for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards and it is no surprise that Eclipse and the cast have been nominated for several awards. Kellan Lutz is up for scene stealer for his role as Emmett Cullen. If you are between the ages of 13-19 years old, then be sure to vote! The show will air live Sunday, August 7^th, at 8/7 central on FOX.

Last night was the night everyone had been waiting for and it did not disappoint! Eclipse dominated by sweeping the award show. Robert Pattinson also surprised everyone by planting a kiss on Taylor Lautner during his best kiss acceptance speech and Kellan, Peter, Nikki, and Jackson had plenty to say about it. Of course, the Breaking Dawn trailer also got plenty of screams and it was well worth the wait. We got to see the wedding, the invitations, the infamous headboard breaking, and much more to keep us foaming at the mouth until November 18th. I just recently saw Kellan’s new movie “Love, Wedding, Marriage,” on iTunes. You can rent the movie from the site for a limited time before it is released into theaters in June. I thought that was a really cool idea because not everyone has the time to get to the movie theater. Kellan was amazing in it and so I went on my personal twitter to show my support. This morning I woke up to an amazing surprise. Kellan replied to my tweet! You got to love a man who is willing to reach out to his fans, even with his busy schedule. The movie was a nice comedy and if you want to see Kellan get his time in the spotlight then this is a great movie to watch. He is funny, gorgeous, sexy, and adorable. I felt so bad for his character at times and as usual his dimples just make you want to melt. Make sure to check out his movie on iTunes or in theaters June 3rd!

In a new interview (translation available here), Kellan Lutz has talked about what Twilight fans can look forward to from his character in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Emmett’s character will become more relevant, as it happens in the book, and opened a little door that will allow us to see how Emmett is.

While “Emmett” had a few vital scenes in Twilight (most particularly, guarding “Edward” and “Bella” on the truck while they fled “James”), his part in The Twilight Saga: New Moon was very small. In Eclipse, though, we got to see a bit more of the character in action (as he has an important showdown with “Paul” at the La Push line – which, thankfully, we got to actually see in the film version of the story). Still, “Emmett,” unlike “Rosalie,” “Jasper,” and “Carlisle,” didn’t get a full-on backstory in the books (though there was an outtake on Stephenie Meyer’s website from Twilight).

So, it should be interesting to see Lutz get some prominent screen-time in Breaking Dawn. There are two scenes which come to mind from Breaking Dawn that’ll really make Lutz’s portrayal pop – the “arm-wrestling sequence” and all his “Honeymoon talk” with “Edward.”

Lutz also talked about his excitement over Bill Condon directing the film.

“I love his work, I’ve seen all his movies and I really look forward to meeting him and the great team working with him, I’m really looking forward to working with him.”

It seems everyone has Twilight Fever these days, including Glamour Magazine. They named several of the Twilight Vampires among their sexiest list with Edward Cullen being number 1. Emmett Cullen aka Kellan Lutz was #4 and Rosalie Hale aka Nikki Reed was #19. Jasper, Alice, Carlisle, Alec, Caius, Riley, Victoria, and Demitri also made the list. Once again, Twilight dominates and who can really be surprised by that at this point.

Kellan Lutz attended the DVD and merchandise presentation of Twilight Eclipse at the Hotel Melia during the 43rd Sitges Film Festival in Sitges, Spain on October 9th. As expected, there were thousands of screaming girls there to greet him.

He admitted that he had little knowledge about the series or vampires in general before being cast for the first Twilight installment.

“I knew that there were books, I loved the script,” Lutz said. Yet he said he ‘closely identified’ with Emmett Cullen who is a brother to the Cullen family which was similar to Kellan himself. His Midwestern family had only one costume, which was a vampire cape that he used frequently to dress up as his favorite villain. “They are very sexy and mysterious,” Kellan said.

Kellan took a jog earlier that morning in Spain, which is nothing out of the ordinary for the Twilight star, who loves being active and shirtless. Apparently, he is really psyched on the bloody birth scene for Breaking Dawn.
